“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”
I am Carlo Paloni, based in Glasgow, Scotland.
Of Italian origin, I was born in London but have lived in Scotland for most of my life. I studied mechanical engineering at Glasgow University, where I was exposed to the intricacies of design and technology, and my passion for Photography was born.
I have covered a vast range of events, from Weddings and Graduations to Fashion Shows and Private Parties, Nightclubs and Venue Launches, Conferences, Family Folios, to Food, Drink, Property, Fashion and Headshots. One of my biggest achievements to date is being commissioned by the Scottish Baftas for the 2015 Awards.
Many of my photography folios can be viewed via the website, however if you would like to see a wider range of any category, I would be delighted to offer a larger range of samples and example photos.
I have had such pleasure in being part of some incredible projects. Working as the Head of photography and videography for G1 group has allowed me to do some incredible events, as well as some amazing venue launches, food menus and drinks shoots.
I have covered all the photography and videography promotion for the Group for over 3 years
I have worked alongside Tennents to create promotional material for the training academy and the brewery.
Innis & Gunn
Innis and Gunn have recently launched two brand new venues, I have been able to document their launch nights all the promotion for their website.
I have covered all the screenings of many incredible talents and Award ceremonies.
Screen Academy Scotland
Scotland creates so many amazing writers and producers and I have had the joy of being able to photograph them.
I have covered all the events that this amazing charity does in order to raise awareness and funds for a worthy cause, Where Annie Lennox, Shirley Mason and Livia Firth have attended and strongly supported.
